ABOUT US

Who we are and why we want to help

Bio:

Brothers in Healing is an evidence-informed wellness and peer support organization founded by two law enforcement professionals with lived experience in trauma, healing, and transformation. Their mission is rooted in service: to normalize mental health conversations, promote recovery, and create systems where individuals and teams, especially those in high-stress, high-risk fields, are supported, seen, and empowered to thrive.

As survivors of trauma and former first responders, Jeremy and Chris bring unmatched authenticity to their work. Through engaging storytelling, culturally relevant peer support, and trauma-informed training, they help agencies and communities understand the deep impacts of chronic exposure to stress and adversity. Their work is especially valuable for organizations in law enforcement, corrections, education, and other frontline service professions where trauma is often unspoken, unaddressed, and misunderstood.

Brothers in Healing champions healing-centered engagement by combining lived experience with academic and clinical research. They specialize in addressing the effects of complex trauma, suicide prevention, and system-driven burnout through a strengths-based, resilience-oriented approach. By fostering psychologically safe environments and authentic dialogue, they offer a new way forward—one that centers empathy, equity, and empowerment.

Their services include keynote presentations, structured workshops, and customizable trainings that can address topics such as:

- Sucide Prevention
- Post-traumatic growth and resilience
- Peer support program development
- Burnout and compassion fatigue
- Cultural humility and equity in service systems
- Creating trauma-informed leadership models

Whether working with front-line staff, leadership teams, or entire agencies, Brothers in Healing delivers content that is relevant, relatable, and rooted in evidence-informed practices. Their offerings go beyond awareness; they inspire real cultural shifts.
